Are you able to spot which book is the odd one out?
Hint : A non-baby related book
Readers are spoilt for choices these days with so many books on parenting and caring for babies / children.
From surfing on Amazon.com and ebooks.com.tw, I bought a couple of books and my good friend Adeline, sent me "What to Expect" as a birthday gift in December.
Since I finished the IMBA program in January 2009, I figured that all the extra time can be channeled towards educating myself on this whole new topic and also reading books for leisure.
Book Reviews:
"Q&A" : Not in the above picture, our friend Gina, lent us the book "Q&A" by Swarup and we enjoyed reading it. it's the book that was adapted into the movie "Slumdog Millionaire". Watching the show before reading the book made it a more interesting read.
"What to Expect" : Very detailed and addresses issues that parents-to-be and new parents might encounter. It's almost like an encyclopedia.
"Barack Obama" : I'm a quarter way through the book and it's an autobiography about Obama's life.
"Heading Home with your Newborn" : Quite a funny book that talks about caring for new babies. Light-hearted read with some valuable information. Not sure how much I remember though.
Still working my way through the rest of the books at my bookworm pace.
